Key Responsibilities
- Internal Audit & Inspection: Conduct comprehensive and effective regular and surprise internal audits or inspections of branches, units, and departments in accordance with the bank’s annual plan and guidelines.
- Report Generation: Prepare detailed audit reports and executive summaries, including well-reasoned recommendations based on audit findings.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure timely receipt of compliance reports from branches and divisions following internal and Bangladesh Bank inspections.
- Issue Resolution: Review compliance reports, take necessary measures to resolve non-compliant issues, and provide summary reports to management.
- Special Investigations: Carry out special audit, inspection, or investigation duties as and when required by the bank’s management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Post-Graduation degree, preferably in a commerce or business discipline, from a reputed university. No third class/division or equivalent CGPA in any academic career. Preference will be given to candidates who are CA, ACCA, or ICMA-intermediate level qualified.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of job experience in a reputable commercial bank, with at least 2 years specifically in the area of Audit & Inspection, Monitoring & Compliance.
- Age: The age limit is a maximum of 40 years as of August 31, 2025.
- Technical Expertise: Candidates must have sound knowledge and experience in General Banking, Investment, Foreign Trade operations, AML & CFT issues, DCFCL, Risk-Based Audit, BASEL Accord, VAT, and Taxation.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess multitasking skills.
